Hey All,

Just wanted to send out a quick Happy New Years to y'all! I'll be hangin' out with the fam just chillin' tonight. Hope you have a safe and fun New Year's celebration!

This is the time of year everyone talks about goals. It's definitely important to have goals for your personal life, your professional life and your guitar playing life. I have recently started taking guitar lessons so I can improve my playing and reach my guitar goals.

I hope you have done the same.

One thing, it's great to have goals. It's another to actually write them down and review them regularly. This is probably the most important key to reaching the goals you have. And an area I have to improve on.

I'll set myself goals, even write some down, but never review them. And my results are proof that without having the goals in front of me so I can review them regularly (yes, daily if you can). That's my resolution, and my hope that you will do the same so you don't hold yourself back.
